Administration Officer

Reporting to the Regional Manager, as an Administration Officer you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining administration procedures for the Oman Office.

Reception duties will include answering phones, meeting and greeting clients, monitoring stationery and general office stock levels, organizing postage, banking and general errands.

With regard to office administration you will be required to book domestic and international travel and accommodation for staff and assist traveling staff with visa applications. Under direction from the Head Office you will maintain an asset register for the region, handle any purchasing, source and arrange printing and marketing materials, register and prepare legal documentation, whilst maintaining standard Aconex Office Procedures.

In support to the Regional Manager you will also prepare expense reports and submit regional reports as required by Head Office.

Other administration duties will include monitoring and reporting on annual and sick leave for staff in the office and liaising with Human Resources at Head Office on projects for the region. You will be required to feedback ideas and information to improve communication between your region and the Head Office.

A proactive approach is required to work in the fast paced changing environment experiencing rapid growth. You will develop and sustain working relationships with all parts of the business, whilst maintaining lines of communication between regional staff and Head Office.

This position would suit candidates with the ability to multi task, has had previous experience in a similar role and the ability to speak the local language as well as fluent english. Previous experience with organising travel and familiarity with local visa regulations will also be well regarded.
