About the Job

The successful sales consultant at Skyline Exhibits is excellent in both business development and managing exhibit projects.  It is a hybrid position requiring long hours of prospecting and cold calling, as well as managing the details, paperwork and deadlines associated with each sale.  Is your background sales, or trade show management, or project management, or purchasing, or agency account management?  With training, these and other backgrounds have proven to be solid foundations for a successful career as a sales consultant with Skyline Exhibits.

This position offers the perfect blend of sales and account management and is an excellent career opportunity for a highly creative, strategic and motivated individual with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

2-5 years business-to-business experience with a  proven track record

Winning attitude with high energy, enthusiasm, passion for putting deals together

Team player who possesses integrity, honesty, and ethics

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and adherence to departmental process

Extremely organized and pro active with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment

Strong presentation skills, as well as excellent written and organizational ability

Develops sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment

Places high priority on personal and professional growth and keeps knowledge and skills current through continued education, reading industry journals, and participating in professional organizations

Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to grow existing and new customer relationships, as well as fostering relationships with colleagues

 

Key Responsibilities

Proactively research, identify, prospect and close B2B sales to new customers through cold calling, networking and leveraging your existing customer base

Present and demonstrate Skyline products and design solutions to customers

Collaborate with the design team to understand customer needs and present design solutions

Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, service and organization throughout the sales cycle

Create quotes and proposals for sales opportunities

Process orders and manage project details and lead-time schedules throughout the project cycle

Manage key relationships with customers and vendors

Resolve customer issues and concerns and escalate when required

Effectively use internal CRM tools (Goldmine) and other support software

Prepare forecast reports and consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets

 

Salary/Benefits

The first year income range is $45,000-$50,000.  Successful sales consultants can double that amount in 2-3 years.  We offer programs for health/dental insurance and 401K.
